    Stephen, I think this is a very beautiful homily.

    In fact it brought tears.

    I also think that it is a little idealist, in that it presumes that if you are of this character, disposition or nature then all will be well.

    It doesn’t presume that others might be threatened or envious or suspicious of such radiance ~ or that the Love one radiates ~ even obliviously ~ (that might be loved by many) ~ may also be the cause of persecution, rejection, suppression or oppression by others. ~ I Look at Jesus.

    But to keep on loving regardless is the innate treasure.

    I once heard a homily about Christians being like satellite dishes ~ catching that radiance from the Heavens and reflecting it down upon the earth in Joy. Just like sunflowers ~ bursting with Character ~ leaving little seeds of joy everywhere ~ radiant.
