Spirit in the City: coming to the West End of London next week

Spirit in the City, the biggest Catholic Festival in the West End of London kicks off on Wednesday 11th June with a Medieval Chants concert at Notre Dame de France at 7:30pm, followed by three days of prayers, uplifting presentations and evangelisation in the area’s four churches taking part.

The final day celebration on Saturday 14th June is at Leicester Square Gardens with workshops, concerts and Eucharistic adoration. That evening a Thanksgiving Mass will take place at Notre Dame de France at 6pm.   Click here for the full programme.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

Fr. Rob Galea, a Catholic priest, Christian singer & songwriter will lead evening worship on 12-13th June, give an uplugged concert in Golden Square and play two sets on stage in Leicester Square Gardens on 14th June.

7pm: Mass & homily with Bishop John Arnold;
13th June 7pm: Surprise speakers: Finding JOY!
14th June from 1pm every half hour in Leicester Sq.: a variety of topics and speakers keep you engaged!

Praying for Spirit in the City: a special holy hour will take place in Warwick St. Church this Saturday 7th June 7pm (Vigil mass 6pm) in preparation for the mission, led by the Cockfosters Healing Team. Praise, intercessions, prayers for the upcoming events and ministries… come along, it’s all about God!
